Topeka ? If state Senate President Dave Kerr is a good mind-reader, then Kansas University basketball coach Roy Williams will remain at KU.
Kerr, R-Hutchinson, announced to the Senate on Thursday that he went to Forbes Field on Wednesday to see the Jayhawks off to New Orleans where they will play in the NCAA Final Four.
Rumors have been flying in recent days that after the season is over, Williams will leave KU to take the newly vacant coaching position at North Carolina.
“I looked Roy Williams in the eye, and I think that he will be staying,” Kerr said.
