College Station, Texas ? Kansas University’s volleyball team dropped its Big 12 opener to Texas A&M, 30-24, 30-26, 30-26, on Wednesday.
Josiane Lima had 11 kills, Abbie Jacobson eight and Ashely Michaels and Sarah Rome had seven apiece for KU. Andi Rozum had 29 assists, and Sarah Rome had eight digs for KU, 8-1 overall.
A&M (9-1, 1-0) was led by Melissa Munsch and Laura Jones, who had 17 kills and 15 kills.
