Michigan State leads with a total of 590 followed by Florida and Fresno State in tie for second after shooting first-day scores of 591.
KU senior Chris Marshall is tied for 12th after shooting 74-74 148. Andrew Price is in a tie for 37th after firing a two-round score of 153 on rounds of 77 and 76.
“The course just played really difficult. It is a beautiful course but also a very difficult course,” KU coach Ross Randall said. “Most of the coaches agree that the players aren’t winning this tournament it’s the course that is winning.”
