Jayhawk tennis troubled in Tulsa

? The Kansas University tennis squad had three players eliminated at the Women’s Tennis Central Region Championships on Saturday.

KU’s Kristen and Courtney Steinbock defeated Tulsa’s Aleksandra Durska and Alicia Pillay, 8-5, in the quarterfinal round before falling to Urska Juric and Katia Seveikova of Missouri, 8-5, in the semifinals.

In singles, sophomore Paige Brown fell to No. 1-seeded Alicia Pillay of Tulsa, 6-1, 6-3.
