Jayhawk soccer to play two games in Texas

Kansas University’s soccer team will be in Texas this weekend to meet a pair of schools winless in Big 12 Conference play.

The Jayhawks (1-0-1 in the league) will meet Baylor (0-2) at 7 tonight in Waco and Texas Tech (0-2) at 1 p.m. Sunday in Lubbock.

KU (7-1-2 overall) has been paced by freshman sensation Caroline Smith, who leads the league in goals scored (10) and points (23). Sophomore goalie Meghan Miller ranks second in the league in saves per game (4.80).
