Waco, Texas ? Josiane Lima had 12 kills and Ashley Michaels added nine, leading the Kansas University volleyball squad to 3-0 (30-20, 30-22, 30-26) win against Bayor on Saturday at Ferrell Center.
Jill Dorsey added 11 digs, and Sarah Rome had eight for the Jayhawks, who improved to 18-7 and 9-7 in the Big 12 Conference. The game set a KU record for Big 12 triumphs, and was the first victory in Waco for Kansas coach Ray Bechard.
“Tonight’s win was a good, clean win,” Bechard said. “It is very nice to reach some of these team plateaus because it means we’re making progress.”
