Carol Jarosky, who has worked in the Kansas University athletic training room the past seven years as an assistant trainer, has been named athletic trainer for football.
Jarosky replaces Ed Lochrie, who left KU to take a similar job at the University of Minnesota.
Jarosky, who earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State and a master’s degree from Nebraska, has worked with football, women’s basketball, softball and volleyball at Kansas. Jarosky also has served as rehabilitation coordinator for three years.
Kansas also announced the hiring of assistant athletic trainer Deb Belik on Wednesday. Belik, who earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State and a master’s from Drake, spent the past four years at South Dakota.
