Kansas University’s Christi Musser and Leah Tabb have been named to the All-Midwest Region team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Assn.
Musser was the Jayhawks’ first first-team selection since 1997, while Tabb was named to the second team for the second straight season. Musser had a .370 batting average during the regular season with 57 hits, nine home runs and 34 runs. Tabb hit at a .297 clip with six home runs and eight doubles.
