By Staff     May 3, 2002

Five Big 12 Conference softball players, including four from Kansas, have been named to the league’s all-academic team for the fourth straight year.

The four KU seniors are Amy Hulse, Shelly Musser, Megan Urquhart and Courtney Wright. The fifth four-time honoree is Jenny Kipp of Oklahoma State.

Wright is one of only two members of the 40-person all-league academic team with a 4.0 grade point average last semester.

Other KU players named to the team are seniors Katie Campbell and Kelly Campbell, and sophomore Melanie Wallach. KU senior Christi Musser was a second-team pick.
