Oklahoma State rallies past Jayhawks, 12-5

? Down by one entering the bottom of the sixth, Oklahoma State scored eight unanswered runs en route to a 12-5 Big 12 baseball victory over Kansas on Saturday.

The Cowboys (19-7 overall, 5-3) trailed 5-4 before rallying past the Jayhawks (12-11, 1-7).

In the top of the fifth inning, KU scored four runs, including a two-run homer by first baseman Kevin Wheeler.

The Jayhawks banged 12 hits. Wheeler and Ryan Baty had three apiece to lead KU.

Tom Gorzelanny was the losing pitcher after surrendering six runs and six hits in 21*3 innings. He relieved starter Jeff Davis, who allowed four runs in five innings.

KU and OSU will complete the weekend series at 2 p.m. today.
