Kansas golfers tied for fifth in Louisiana

? Led by junior Chris Marshall, Kansas was tied for fifth place after two rounds of The Louisiana Classics men’s golf tournament on Monday.

KU compiled 584 strokes to tie Tulsa. Southern Methodist is first with 573 shots.

Marshall shot rounds of 73 and 70 to tie for seventh with a 143 total. Texas Tech’s Mark Hull leads with a 139 strokes.

Other KU scores through two rounds were Travis Hurst (72-75147), Tyler Hall (75-72147), Casey Harbour (75-72147), Andrew Price (80-75155) and Kevin Ward (77-81158).

The final round of the tournament starts at 7:30 this morning.
