Jayhawks named to all-tourney team

Four Kansas softball players Megan Urquhart, Kelly Campbell, Shelly Musser and Leah Tabb were named to the all-tournament team for the weekend Holiday Inn Invitational at Jayhawk Field.

Urquhart, a senior third baseman, was the tournament’s most valuable player after hitting .700 in four games.

Campbell earned most valuable pitcher honors after shutting out Indiana State to lower her ERA to 1.01.

Musser batted .417 and Tabb hit .750 with a home run at the tournament.

KU went 4-0 to capture the tournament title.
