Roy sorry for Richardson

By J-W Staff Report     Mar 3, 2002

KU coach Roy Williams feels for former Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson, who was let go on Friday.

“Nolan is a great friend,” Williams said. “I can’t put myself in his shoes and that’s the only way somebody can understand what he’s going through. He’s a very bright person and something has really bothered him or he wouldn’t be saying the things he has been saying.”
