KU picked last in North

Kansas University’s football team was picked to finish last in the Big 12 Conference North Division in a poll of league media representatives.

Colorado was picked to win the North, and Oklahoma was tapped to win the South in the poll of print and electronic media representatives.

Texas Tech’s Kliff Kingsbury was named preseason offensive player of the year, and OU’s Tommie Harris was named the preseason defensive player of the year.

No KU players were named to the preseason All-Big 12 teams.
