Kansas University’s football program gained a pair of oral commitments from high school linemen on Sunday night.

The commitments were Cesar Rodriguez, a 6-foot-7, 250-pound offensive tackle from La Puente (Calif.) Amat High, and Jon Conlin, a 6-3, 230-pound tight end/defensive end from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Rodriguez told analyst Jon Kirby of rivals.com that he chose KU over Washington and UCLA.

Conlin told Kirby he picked KU over Boise State, LSU, and Utah.

Kansas University’s football team continues to corral oral commitments.

Charles Gordon, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound wide receiver, reportedly has agreed to join the Jayhawks.

“He committed to Kansas,” Santa Monica (Calif.) High coach Norm Lacy told Jon Kirby of MoKanFootball.com. “He can play either defensive back or receiver at the next level. I think Kansas is looking at him as an inside receiver.”

Gordon had 66 receptions for 1,229 yards as a senior, and 1,100 yards with 16 touchdowns as a sophomore. He was a preseason all-state selection prior to his junior season, which was washed out by an injury.
