? Former Kansas University football quarterback Mario Kinsey has found a new home.

Kinsey, who was kicked off Kansas’ football team on Dec. 18 for violating athletics department policies, has enrolled at NCAA Div. I-AA Sam Houston State University.

Sam Houston State coach Ron Randleman told the Huntsville Item that Kinsey had enrolled but had no further comment except to say Kinsey would participate in spring practice.

Kinsey, a 6-1, 195-pounder from Waco, Texas, started seven games for KU this past season as a red-shirt freshman.

Sam Houston State went 10-3 last season and reached the 1-AA quarterfinals.
