Fieldhouse fans pay homage to Jayhawk seniors

Here’s a sampling of what the six Kansas University seniors had to say in the Senior Night speeches:

Brett Ballard

“The way I see it, we’ve got one trophy, but we’ve still got 10 more wins left in this season.”

Lewis Harrison

“This is a crazy group, but it’s a great team. … We’re all different, but we all get along.”

Todd Kappelmann

“This is the greatest bunch of guys I could ever be associated with. Thanks for taking me in these past few years.”

Chris Zerbe

“I wouldn’t give this up for anything in the world.”

Jeff Carey

“We still have a lot more basketball to play, so keep cheering for us.”

Jeff Boschee

“Coach Williams, I’d like to thank you for basically just giving me a chance to play.”
