Williams, in his 14th season at KU, is in second place on Kansas’ all-time coaching wins list, and trails only Phog Allen for the top spot on that chart.
Oklahoma State’s Eddie Sutton and Oklahoma’s Kelvin Sampson are the other finalists out of the Big 12 for the award, which will be presented on April 5 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.
