? Kansas University lost the premier race, the First Varsity 8, but the Jayhawks beat Kansas State, 13-8, in a dual regatta on Sunday.

The Jayhawks, winners of four straight over the Wildcats, won the Second Varsity 8, Varsity 4 and Novice 8 races.

“We had a really good day of racing,” KU coach Rob Catloth said. “We still have some personnel changes to make on the First Varsity 8 boat, but the important thing is that we won the team points today.”
