Texas takes title against Jayhawks

? Kansas University’s women’s tennis team was pounded by No. 11-ranked Texas, 7-0, Sunday at Penick-Allison Tennis Center in Austin, Texas.

The Jayhawks finished the regular season 15-5 overall, 9-2 in the Big 12. The victory clinched the Longhorns’ sixth consecutive Big 12 title.

Texas swept all three doubles matches, then won all six singles matches in straight sets to win the regular-season finale.
