? Kansas University’s women’s golf team finished tied for seventh in a 16-team field Tuesday. The Jayhawks shot rounds of 302, 302, 312, for a total of 916 at the 6,118-yard, par-72 Blackhorse Golf Club.

Freshman Amanda Costner led Kansas with a 221 total and tied for second place — two strokes behind Kansas State’s Christine Boucher.

Kansas started the day in second place, but three Jayhawks shot 80 or higher in the final round. KU’s final team score was 916.

Sophomore Chelsey Pryor tied for 31st at 234. Freshman Jill Womble tied for 38th at 234. Senior Jennifer Bawanan shot a 238 and tied for 59th. Sophomore Tiffany Woods tied for 61st with 239.

? Kansas University’s women’s golf team placed seventh in a 10- team field Sunday at the Iowa Invitational. KU totaled 937 strokes. Michigan won with 888. Junior Jill MacDonald shot a final round 80 for a total of 221 good for third place.
