UNC volleyball team beats KU in four games

? North Carolina’s volleyball team defeated Kansas in four games Friday night at Carmichael Auditorium. The nonconference match, which preceded UNC’s midnight basketball practice, drew a crowd of 9,500 fans.

The Tar Heels won their 12th straight match, 30-28, 30-24, 29-32, 30-26.

UNC, the top team in the ACC, improved to 16-3. Kansas fell to 11-7. KU was led by Sarah Rome, who recorded 16 kills and 19 digs. Molly LaMere led Kansas in assists with 51.

KU plays today at North Carolina State.
