Franklin, Ind. ? Kristy Straub hit her first career hole-in-one during practice Sunday, sparking Kansas University’s golf team at the Collegiate Women’s Shootout.
The Jayhawks, in 16th place out of 19 teams, had team totals of 307 and 311 at the par-72, 6,076-yard Legends Golf Club.
KU juniors Jill MacDonald and Heather Rose led the way with 153s, good for an eight-way time for 46th place.
