? Nebraska fullback Judd Davies will miss the No. 2 Cornhuskers’ game at Kansas on Saturday because of an ankle sprain, coach Frank Solich said Thursday.

Davies, a 6-foot, 250-pound sophomore from Omaha, has been hampered since injuring the ankle early in the Huskers’ win over Texas Tech on Oct. 20. He played sparingly in Saturday’s 20-10 win over Oklahoma and did not have any carries.

Davies has sat out practice all week and Solich said Thursday that Davies will not make the trip to Kansas.

Davies is fourth on the team in rushing with 206 yards on 33 carries with four touchdowns. Freshman Steve Kriewald will likely get the start Saturday.
