? Future Kansas University basketball player Jeff Hawkins scored 25 points to lead the Kansas all-stars to a 113-96 victory over the Wichita all-stars in Saturday’s Christian Foundation and Events all-star game at Newman University.

Hawkins, a senior from KC Sumner, hit five three-pointers.

“I hope I was able to surprise a few people,” Hawkins said. “Now, just 49 more states to go.”

Hawkins hit a pair of second-half three-pointers that helped rally the Kansas team from a 13-point deficit.

The game featured some of the top seniors from the Kansas City area against the best from the Wichita area.
