Ex-KU captain dies

John Buescher, captain of the 1942-43 Kansas University men’s basketball team that won the Big Six Conference title with a 10-0 record, died Wednesday in Midland, Mich.

Mr. Buescher, a native of Beardstown, Ill., was 80.
