The 13th-ranked Baylor Bears knocked off Kansas in women’s tennis action on Saturday afternoon in Waco, Texas, 7-0.

The Jayhawks had to contend with a Bears team that featured three ranked singles players, as Kansas falls to 6-5. However, three of KU’s losses this season have been at the hands of top-15 teams in the country.

The doubles team of senior Monica Sekulov and Courtney Steinbock was able to come through for KU’s only match victory of the day, as the duo upended Katja Kovac and Jahnavi Parekh, 9-7.

Kansas will continue its Big 12 road trip, as it will next travel to Columbia, Mo., to meet Missouri on March 14, followed by dates at Oklahoma (March 17) and Oklahoma State (March 18).
