Kansas coach Roy Williams said he had “no complaints” about any of the NCAA’s No. 1 seeds: Illinois, Michigan State, Duke and Stanford.
“I was saying to one of my coaches, eight of the top 10 teams in the country lost in the last seven days,” Williams said. “That shows what college basketball is. Teams that made really significant runs at the end some were rewarded, like Kentucky all the way to a No. 2. Yet Boston College … I was a little surprised they were still (3) after the great run they made. Iowa State lost two of three and still was a 2 seed. I think it’s where they deserve to be. The last couple weeks everybody was talking about five or six clubs vying for the No. 1 seeds. I have no problem with any of them.”
