Reves, Johnson, Jackson receive Big 12 honors

Kansas University seniors Jennifer Jackson, Jaclyn Johnson and Brooke Reves were named women’s basketball All-Big 12 honorable mention selections. It marks the second time in their KU careers that all three have been named honorable mention.

Jackson is averaging 10.1 points and 3.4 assists, needs to play 15 more minutes in a Jayhawk uniform to become the career leader in minutes played at Kansas.

Reves, who is the Jayhawks’ second-leading scorer (13.8) and rebounder (7.2), has recorded double-figure scoring in all but four games this season.

Johnson averages a team-best 15.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.1 steals. The Burbank, Calif., native has recorded a team-high six double-doubles and has scored 20-plus points on 10 occasions. The 6-foot-1 forward has led KU in rebounding 18 times this season.
