Former Kansas University basketball guard Billy Thomas has signed a contract to finish the season with the Kansas Cagerz of the USBL. The Salina franchise released forward Wayne Houston, center T.J. Soyoye and guard Gary Johnson. The Cagerz also signed Tes Whitlock, who was released by Atlantic City. Thomas played for the Cagerz the past two seasons before heading to Cincinnati of the IBA this season.
