Kansas University football signees Greg Heaggans and Justin Henry were both on the East roster for Saturday night’s Shrine Bowl in Manhattan, but neither posted any offensive statistics.
Heaggans is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver from Kansas City Schlagle. Henry is a 6-4, 235-pound tight end from Royal Valley.
Lawrence High or Free State High had no players selected to participate in the game that ended in a 12-12 tie the first deadlock in the high school all-star game’s history.
Ottawa nose guard Jason Tharp also was selected to play in the all-start game.
