FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. ? Kansas University sent four members of its track and field team to the Arkansas Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
The Jayhawks who competed were senior Scott Russell (second in weight throw, 70-1 3/4), senior Charlie Gruber (second in mile, 4:00.79), junior Ryan Speers (third in shot put, 58-8) and senior Andy Tate (sixth in 3,000 meters, 8:08.35).
