Jayhawk netters fall to Louisville

Louisville won four singles matches and a doubles match to top Kansas University, 4-3, in a men’s tennis dual on Saturday at Alvamar.

KU’s Quentin Blakeney won his No. 3 singles match, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (14-12). KU’s Andrew Metzler won at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles, Rodrigo Echagaray and Eleazar Magallan won at No. 1, 9-7. Blakeney teamed with Pete Stroer for an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Blakeney-Stroer, KU, def. Conley-McCombe, 8-5.
