Despite Jaclyn Johnson’s best efforts, the Jayhawks lost on the road at Iowa State. ISU paced the game with effective three-point shooting and a stifling defense. Except for Johnson, no Jayhawk scored more than three points in the first half. This was KU’s fourth loss in a row.
Kansas pulled to within seven points with 7:57 to go, but the Cyclones then went on a 13-5 run to put the game away.
Johnson led all Jayhawk scoring with 21 points.
