Kansas men run win streak to three

? Kansas University’s men’s tennis team ran its winning streak to three matches with a 4-3 victory over New Mexico on Sunday.

KU junior Quentin Blakeney earned his 20th singles win of the season to lead the Jayhawks, defeating Bart Scott, 6-2, 6-7 (7-4), 6-3.

Kansas lost the doubles point but won the match by winning four of six singles matches. Other singles winners were juniors Rodrigo Echagaray and Alex Barragan and sophomore Pete Stroer.

Kansas, 7-4 during the spring campaign, will play host to No. 45 Boise State and UMKC in a dual-match doubleheader on Saturday at Alvamar.
