LINCOLN, NEB. ? Kansas University’s women’s basketball team followed its biggest victory of the season with its 15th loss.
The Jayhawks (10-15 overall, 4-10 Big 12) knocked off then-No. 6 Iowa State on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse, but Nebraska continued its recent domination of KU with a 49-46 victory on Wednesday at Devaney Center.

The Cornhuskers (12-15, 4-10) have won seven of their last eight meetings with the Jayhawks, swept the season series and haven’t lost to KU in Lincoln since 1997.
Kansas led Wednesday’s game 24-19 at halftime before the Huskers rallied for their fifth straight victory and sixth in seven games.
KU forward Jaclyn Johnson, the team’s leading scorer with an average of 16.4 points per game, missed four of five field-goal attempts and fouled out with two points. The senior led the team with nine rebounds and a season-high six assists.
Senior forward Brooke Reves led KU with 13 points. She also had seven rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots. Junior guard KC Hilgenkamp added 12 points, but no other Jayhawks scored more than five points.
Stephanie Jones led Nebraska’s balanced offense with 12 points and eight rebounds. Nebraska outrebounded KU, 45-34.
Kansas will play host to Missouri on Saturday. The Senior Day game is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at Allen Fieldhouse.
