A KU win would give the Jayhawks at least 20 wins for the 12th straight season.
KU’s last win over Iowa State was a 74-60 Jayhawk victory in January of 1999.
The Jayhawks are 13-16 against the Cyclones all-time in Hilton Coliseum. Kansas coach Roy Williams is 19-10 all-time versus Iowa State. Iowa State coach Larry Eustachy is 4-1 all-time against Kansas.
KU has dropped four straight against top 10 teams.
Senior center Eric Chenowith is in fifth place on Kansas’ all-time career rebounds list with 876, and now needs just two more to pass Wilt Chamberlain for fourth place all-time.

Iowa State has lost its last eight Big Monday games, including an 88-80 overtime loss on Jan. 8 at Oklahoma State. ISU’s last win in a Big Monday game was a 75-71 win over Kansas on Feb. 22, 1993.
Kantral Horton has made 28 consecutive free throws. School record free throws without a miss is held by Fred Hoiberg, who hit 34 straight in the 1992-93 season.
ISU is 24-4 in conference play the past two years. All losses have been in overtime and on the road, including ISU’s first two losses this year 88-80 one OT loss at Okie State and 112-109 four OT loss at Missouri. The Cyclones have lost seven straight conference games that required an extra session.
Iowa State has won 32 straight at home, the second best active homecourt streak in the country behind MIchigan State (42).
A victory tonight would tie Roy Williams with Ted Owens for second place on KU’s all-time win list with 348.
Jeff Boschee’s 2.67 to 1 assist to error ratio is the second best by a Jayhawk in a single season with a minimum of 75 assists. Cedric Hunter had a record 2.7 to 1 in 1985-86.
Kirk Hinrich’s 7.4 assists per game ranks as second-best single season assist mark in KU history. Jacque Vaughn has the record with 7.68 assists per game in 1995.
