Kansas leads the all-time series, 6-0. The Jayhawks are 4-0 versus Baylor since the inception of the Big 12 in 1996-97.

KU is 2-0 in Baylor’s Ferrell Center.

Kansas coach Roy Williams is 4-0 all-time versus Baylor.

The Jayhawks are shooting for their 12th-consecutive 20-win season.

The all-time series dates back to Dec. 3, 1951, when Kansas opened its eventual NCAA championship season with a 57-46 victory over the Bears in Lawrence.

Baylor head coach Dave Bliss is 4-15 versus Kansas, including tenures at Baylor, Oklahoma and SMU.

Bliss coached against Kansas in the Big Eight at Oklahoma from 1976-80, posting a record of 4-10 versus Kansas while in Norman.

The Jayhawks are 79-14 all time versus schools from the state of Texas.

Kansas and Baylor have never previously met in a nationally televised game. BU is expecting a sellout tonight at 10,284-seat Ferrell Center.

Baylor assistant coach Kevin Lewis played against Kansas as a freshman at SMU. Lewis scored 10 points while grabbing one rebound in KU’s 62-60 victory.

Kansas has three players on its roster Luke Axtell (Austin), Bryant Nash (Carrollton) and Mario Kinsey (Waco) that hail from the state of Texas.

Axtell teamed with Baylor’s Terry Black on the Big 12 All-Star Team which played six games in Austria during the summer.
