Ames, Iowa ? Kansas University’s Scott Russell recorded his fifth victory of the season in the weight throw at the Iowa State Track and Field Classic here Friday. Russell had a toss of 71-63/4. KU’s men’s distance medley relay team won in 9:38.36. KU’s women’s distance medley relay team placed third in 11:50.18, and Monique Peters had her best long jump of the year (18-13/4).
