Grand Forks, N.D. ? The Kansas University men’s basketball team posted a resounding 108-77 win over NCAA Divsion II North Dakota Saturday in front of a sell out crowd of 13,000 at Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
KU Senior, and North Dakota native, Jeff Boschee was greeted with a three minute standing ovation. The Jayhawks went out at halftime with a comfortable lead of 51-35 and four players in double digit scoring.
Jeff Boschee had only four points in last years KU win over North Dakota at Allen Fieldhouse. Boschee left the game at 3:39 with 23 points and was given a second standing ovation.
The Jayhawks are now 9-1. High scorers for the Jayhawks were Jeff Boschee, 23; Drew Gooden, 16, and Kirk Hinrich, with 14. Next up for KU is a trip to Kemper Arena to face Tulsa on December 29.
