Mario Kinsey, who started seven games last season at quarterback for the Jayhawks, has been dismissed from the team for violating athletic department policies.

Kinsey, a redshirt freshman last season from Waco, Texas, played in 10 games and completed 88 of 202 passes for 1,215 yards and seven touchdowns. He also had 225 yards and three touchdowns rushing.
