Des Moines, Iowa ? Kansas University’s Andrea Bulat placed third in the javelin at the Drake Relays.
Bulat, a junior from Windsor, Ontario, threw 148-5. Also, KU’s women’s distance medley relay team placed seventh in 11:37.62, the third fastest time in school history. Jeremy Hull placed ninth in the pole vault with a leap of 16-51/2.
