Kansas University’s Christi Wagenaar, a junior from South Africa, and Kim Lorenz, a soph from Omaha, Neb., have been named to the Academic All-Big 12 tennis team.
Second-team berths went to KU’s Monica Sekulov, a senior from Australia; Quentin Blakeney, a junior from Charlotte, N.C.; and Rodrigo Echagaray, a junior from Mexico.
Both KU teams will compete in league tournaments starting Thursday in Waco, Texas. The KU men have been seeded fourth and the women seventh.
