KU’s Tate qualifies

Kansas University’s Andy Tate finished third in the steeplechase with a time of 8:38.01 at last weekend’s Mt. Sac Relays in California. Tate’s time is the third fastest in KU history and qualifies him for the NCAA Outdoor in late May in Eugene, Ore.
