KU’s Roberts takes 11th

? Kansas University senior Conrad Roberts fired a final-round 69 Sunday to finish in a three-way tie for 11th at 1-under-par 215 to lead the Jayhawks at the Intercollegiate at Finley Golf Course.

The Jayhawks placed ninth with 878 strokes for three rounds.

KU senior Andy Stewart tied for 23rd at 219. Juniors Travis Hurst (223) and Casey Harbour (225) and sophomore Chris Marshall (230) completed the Jayhawks’ scoring.

Duke won the 12-team tournament with 856 strokes, two better than runner-up Wake Forest.

Next for KU is the Big 12 Championships April 23-24 at Prairie Dunes in Hutchinson.
