FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. ? Andrea Bulat, Eve Lamborn, Jennifer Foster, Brian Blachly, Alex Thomas and Brent Behrens claimed individual titles for Kansas University at the Fayetteville track and field invitational on Saturday.
Bulat won the javelin with a throw of 143-1, while Lamborn won the 1,500 meters in 4:41.88. Foster won the shot put with a throw of 141-1.
On the men’s side, Blachy won the 1,500 in 3:54.31, Thomas won the hammer throw with a throw of 155-11 and Behrens won the 3,000.
“We had a lot of personal bests, a lot of first-place finishes and a lot of second-place finishes,” KU coach Stanley Redwine said. “We are starting to get into midseason form, and we are excited and happy with our performances.
Other KU placings: Katy Eisenmenger, second, 1,500, 4:29.8; Robbie Harriford, second, 100, 11.98, and fourth, 200; and Eric Patterson, fourth, 110 hurdles, 14.11.
