Women’s Golf finishes last

? Fifteen teams competed in the Mary Fossum Intercollegiate Tournament. Kansas ranked fifteenth.

Minnesota finished first with a team score of 296. KU finished 32 strokes hehind at 328. Jayhawk Kristy Straub competed individually and shot a 77, good enough for 46th place.

Kent State, Northwestern, Michigan State and Michigan rounded out the top five teams. Big 12 rival Kansas State finished 6th in the tournament, with a team score of 304. Michigan’s Kim Benedict and Minnesota’s Jenny Bruun were the individual
leaders each carding a 70.
