? Saint Louis stopped Kansas University, 3-2, in women’s soccer on Friday.

Sophomore Mandy Trokey headed in the game-winner in the 89th minute to hand KU (1-2) its second straight defeat. The Jayhawks squandered a 2-0 lead.

“When you are up 2-0, you can’t let go,” KU coach Mark Francis said. “Even after they scored their first goal, we kept after it and then just let it get away.”

Kansas struck first in the 54th minute as freshman midfielder Jennifer Ray converted from the penalty spot for her first collegiate goal. Sophomore forward Carmel Kaplinger made it 2-0 as she finished to the back left corner.
