Stanford, Calif ? Kansas University’s Travis Hurst was third, teammate Conrad Roberts tied for sixth, and the Jayhawks tied for fourth in the team race at the Nelson Classic, which concluded Sunday at the Stanford Golf Course.
Hurst shot 70-71141 to finish two strokes behind Duke’s Leif Olson. Roberts shot 69-74143 to finish in a seven-way tie for sixth.
Duke won the team title with 573 strokes and was followed by North Carolina State (279), Stanford (581) and Kansas and Alabama, which both fired team scores of 582.
