Columbia, Mo. ? The Kansas University volleyball team suffered its fifth straight loss Wednesday, falling 13-15, 15-11, 12-15, 8-15 at Missouri.
“We played tonight just exactly like we have been playing lately,” said Kansas coach Ray Bechard, whose team dropped to 11-7 overall and 2-7 in the Big 12. “We play very well, and then there are spells when we don’t play so hot.”
Danielle Geronymo led KU with 17 kills. Amy Myatt had 15, and Nancy Bell added 11.
No. 24 MU improved to 15-2 and 6-2.
The Jayhawks play host to Oklahoma on Oct. 18 at Horejsi Center.
